International education has been used by God to bring people together from many cultures, for training, equipping and hearing the Gospel. Just like in the book of Acts.

International Students Fulfilling the Great Commission
Jesus’ final words before being taken up into heaven is to Go! Go into all the world and make disciples of all the nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.. (Matthew 28)
Throughout scripture, we have seen many business people, skilled craftsman, and international visitors, whom God brought together, to experience God’s passion for the world and send them out. Think of the Ethiopian Eunuch (Acts 8:26-40). God can reach entire nations, reconciling their broken relationships to Him, through bringing international friendships in Christ together.
World Changers Internship
Have you considered that God may want you to be a world changer? Whether you are studying to be a civil engineer, nurse, political science, biology, business or many other disciplines, God desires to call you into a greater walk with him, and his Kingdom-building business.
The Reno International House desires to partner and works with International Students, Inc., IFI, Bridges (Cru), Intervarsity and other student organizations, to see world changers trained and raised up, to be leaders in their sphere of influence. Spheres of influence, such as medicine, family, education and the arts, are all areas of dominion that God wants to reach with the Gospel. Being a leader in these spheres is what

Business-As-Mission Impact
Entrepreneurship. Business management. Company leadership. Using business as a way to connect with the world, improve society, and shine as a bold witness for Jesus, can have an incredible impact in today’s world.
Christians are to be honest in their business dealings. They are to pay their workers generously. And deliver value to their customers. Small businesses and large companies alike, can be led by leaders who love Jesus, and seek to bring glory to God through the excellence of the work they do. This includes running profitable, sustainable business.
In this track, students and interns will gain practical business experience either with employers here in Reno, or working remotely, while learding about God’s plan for the marketplace. Meeting other Christian business owners and marketplace leaders, you’ll gain valuable experience to help you live out business-as-mission in your home country, while striving to be excellent in your career.
Using Your Degree for God’s Kingdom
Have you ever wondered how God can use your degree? Students in many disciplines, including pure sciences like chemistry, arts, humanities, educational leadership, business fields and engineering often wonder what is their role in these professions, withing the church and society. God wants to redeem all spheres of influence.
Has God called you to pursue your degree for such a time as this? (Ester 4:14). Even if you don’t work directly in the profession you studied (which is quite common), God can use your experience through college for growing and becoming a disciple, prepared to be an influencer, wherever you go.
In this element, you will fellowship with other Christian students to dream big, pray, and seek God’s guidance for your career, as you pursue your degree. God can use it all.
