Do you have a bedroom in your house that you would like to rent out?

Consider being a homestay home. Families, retired seniors, and working singles who have extra bedrooms in their home, can consider a joyful opportunity to impact someone from another nation, and share life together, while they become settled in Reno.

Reno International House is looking for local homes and families that meet these standards and requirements:

• Have a private bedroom, furnished with a bed, desk and chair and clothing storage
• Willing to share kitchen and bathroom with an international student
• Be located within walking distance to an RTC bus line
• Maintain basic cleanliness and safety standards
• Successfully complete a consultation and check on-site
• Be willing to host a student for a minimum of 2 months or more

Monthly rents should include all utilities and internet should be available on-site.
Meals are not required to be offered, but the student resident should be allowed to use the kitchen facilities if not.
Monthly rents are negotiable and are arranged and paid between both you and the resident. There is a small one-time fee charged for matchups that result in move-in.
We encourage homestay homes to develop community through activities like trips, meals together. We will give you information, training and suggested helps and sample housing agreements to help you in your experience.
